BlackSite: Area 51 FOV Fix is a mod for BlackSite: Area 51, created by GeneralAdmission.
Description:
A fix for Hor+ gameplay in all common widescreen & surround aspect ratios. The archive contains fixes for 16:10, 15:9, 16:9, 21:9, 3x5:4, and 3x16:10 aspect ratios. Instructions are included in the readme file. Also, I found the camera shake caused by taking damage to be highly annoying, as every single bullet impact would jerk the camera in a different direction. This rapidly diminished the fun factor, so it was disabled.
Installation:
1) Navigate to this folder inside the game directory:
..\BlackSite Area 51\A52Game\Content\Tweaks
2) BACKUP the original file Coalesced.ini to a separate location!
3) Replace the Coalesced.ini file with the modded version appropriate for your display. 5 aspect ratios are included:
16:10 (eg. 1680x1050)
15:9 (eg. 1280x768)
16:9 (eg. 1600x900)
21:9 (eg. 3440x1440 or 2560x1080)
3x5:4 (eg. 3840x1024)
3x16:10 (eg. 5040x1050)
Notes:
Not all weapons were tested for correct zoomed-in FOV. Theoretically they should be correct, but please report any problems.
This version also disables the camera shake caused by taking damage.
