Description:

The Age of Empires II Day/Night Cycle ENB simulates a day/night cycle by applying dynamic contrast, saturation, and brightness post-processing algorithms to change the look of the game. Units, buildings, game menus, etc., are all impacted, and you can disable and enable the mod in-game as you like. The Age of Empires II Day/Night Cycle ENB effects are well-suited for scenarios/RPGs, campaigns, or even standard random map games!

INSTALLATION:

Please follow the below installation steps exactly, or the Age of Empires II HD Day/Night Cycle Mod may not work properly:

1. In your Steam Game Library, right click on "Age of Empires II HD" and click Properties.

2. Click on the "Set launch options..." button.

3. Type in SKIPINTRO and click OK. This is necessary because the Age of Empires II HD Day/Night Cycle Mod does not work with the introductory videos.

4. Now open the "enbseries_generic_v0076.zip" file with your favorite archiving program

(i.e. WinRAR, WinZip, etc.).

5. Inside the enbseries_generic_v0076.zip file, navigate to the folder below:

\WrapperVersion

6. Extract the following five files within \WrapperVersion into your Age2HD directory:

\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD\

d3d9.dll

effect.txt

effect_functions.txt

enbseries.ini

enbseries_mastereffect.ini

7. Launch the game. If you see the text "ENBSeries v0.076 Generic" in the upper left corner of your screen, your installation was successful! The text will disappear after a short while, so now simply play the game and enjoy.
