CS2 release date
We have already learned the initial list of changes in Counter Strike 2 relative to CS GO, but the exact release date for CS 2 and the Source 2 engine itself is not yet known. Information provided by Valve suggests that the release of CS2 will take place during the summer of 2023.
Do I need to buy the game?
Not necesarily, as the developers have officially confirmed that Counter Strike 2 will become a free update to CS GO.
