The game was developed by Stainless Games with the financial support of the users of the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Similarly to the first Carmageddon game from 1997, Reincarnation enables the players to participate in unusually gory races. The objective is not only to be the first at the finish line, but to cause more destruction and casualties among the pedestrians than the opponents as well.
