Gameplay centers on exploration, accomplishing missions, and combat.

The player becomes a leader of a group of survivors hiding in a gloomy underground shelter after a nuclear catastrophe. The game begins when the first bombs are about to fall. We have a limited amount of time to gather supplies for the first weeks of living underground.

This time the action of the game takes us to the museum of world history where we have to face the evil Lord Crowley - a worm who wants to take control over the museum. The gameplay mechanics is modeled on the older installments of the series and is based on turn-based competition between two armed teams of worms.

A sandbox strategy game developed by the independent studio 4gency, in which we are given a major task of saving humanity by building a functioning space station. Habitat’s story is set in the distant future, where humanity is looking for a new place to live after the Earth was left in ruins. Players have to build a base that can act as a shelter for the millions of Earth’s inhabitants and take care of their needs and safety.

The game’s story focuses on battling all sorts of monsters that are trying to invade the real world. The last obstacle on their way is you and your fortress. Consistently with the rules of the genre, gameplay is primarily about building various guard towers that work in many different ways.

Another game by independent Swedish studio Image & Form, set in the universe of SteamWorld, which combines elements of Steampunk and Western genres. The game is set in the distant future, where a powerful cataclysm forced the remaining inhabitants to flee into space on steam space ships. The player becomes a captain of a group of robo-pirates who are trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic reality by raiding and plundering enemy bases and ships.

You play as the head of a typical American family, who has to provide for his loved ones in the face of an incoming nuclear war. The game starts 60 seconds before the first explosion, giving you one minute to get to a shelter while grabbing the most essential provisions on the way.
