StarHawk is a sequel to the 2007 Warhawk online shooting game. The action of the game was set in the realities of science fiction. The player takes on the role of mercenary Emmett Graves, who takes on the role of his brother's commanded group of Outcasts. Contrary to the previous version of the cycle, developers from LightBox Interactive studio decided to develop a single-player option, but without giving up the spectacular multiplayer mode, designed for up to 32 participants.

A spin-off of the popular FPS game series intended for multiplayer play, which skillfully combined elements of modern sci-fi shooters with characteristic features of Asian horror films. The production was prepared by the Korean studio Inplay, and the work on the game used the source code, graphic elements and modified engine of F.E.A.R. 2.
