Created by Blazing Badger, AIPD is a co-op top-down twin-stick shooter resembling the classic arcade hits from the 80s. In the game you control futuristic police ships. Within limited time you have to destroy as many increasingly stronger enemies as you can. You can modify your ship between the missions, adjusting not only its appearance, but also parameters such as agility, firepower, or shields.

Extremely simple, dexterity two-dimensional shooter. Players take on the role of a futuristic soldier and in closed arenas they fight waves of aliens and mutants. During the game we can use 30 types of weapons and several dozen abilities modifying the game. The title supports the local co-op mode for up to four people.

The developers took inspiration not only from 8-bit classics, but also 1980s science fiction anime. The action of Capsule Force takes place in a distant future, in the eve of an intergalactic war. With the threat of apocalypse looming nearby, the galactic leaders have decided to begin an aggressive program of colonization, using futuristic capsules, which creates various internal conflicts.

The game’s biggest feature is the use of Unreal Engine which supports 1080p, along with 3D backgrounds and 3D character models. The latter, implemented as a modified cel-shading style, strongly resembles original, two-dimensional sprites.

Although the original game (2011) was released exclusively for PCs, Hard Reset: Redux received console versions for the eighth generation of hardware as well. The game offers a journey to a grim world of the future, when the Earth has been almost entirely dominated by merciless robots who have devastated the planet.

The result of their actions is an anomaly that merged both worlds. As a pilot of the research vessel Nova, we have to find and rescue the scientists and to remove the anomaly to separate the dimensions.

She searches for her younger sister who got lost in the Phantom Field.
