This time, as the name of the extension suggests, Firaxis Games' developers and designers decided to focus on the periods in human history that followed the invention of gunpowder and the introduction of firearms.

Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Gods & Kings offers a myriad of novelties, among which the expanded religion module is probably the most important one. It introduces a new aspect to the game, namely faith, thanks to which we can establish and develop our own religion. This, in turn, allows us to gain useful bonuses and gives us access to specific units (missionaries, inquisitors) or buildings (cathedrals, mosques).

The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place 30 years after the events presented in its predecessor. The protagonist has grown really old and got himself a large belly.
