An RPG developed by Infogrames together with Gremlin Entertainment and published by Interplay. Soulbringer is set in a fantasy world called Rathenna which is at war with demonic forces. The player assumes the role of a young adventurer who is quickly embroiled in a dark scheme and becomes the only hope of saving the land. Soulbringer offers an interesting magic system based on playing rock-paper-scissors.

This means that practical gameplay and execution of numerous quests takes place in "instance" areas, and fixed areas, where hundreds of people meet in practice, have been limited to cities and large neighbouring locations.

Authors also tried to adhere to historical facts, such as the growing influence of catholic church or the Inquisition. Darklands doesn’t feature a clear plotline, offering unbounded freedom of playing and fulfilling quests instead.
