The player is once again taken to the magical world of Arcanus Cella, which is a base of operations for heroes that set out on expeditions to dangerous dungeons. This time, the game begins at the end of the Sengoku period in Japan, when the country was brought to its knees by internal wars and rebellions.

The player has four heroes to choose from, and by defeating enemies he strives to bring back order to the land of Aezir. The universe is inspired by music – both the heroes and enemies resemble musical instruments, such as a harp or an accordion. Collecting notes gives experience points that can be spent on upgrading the character or equipment.

Victor Vran: Fractured Worlds is an expansion pack to the 2015 hack'n'slash game Victor Vran that was developed by Haemimont Games. It requires the base game to be playable. In Fractured Worlds, the titular monster hunter is moved to a realm that was born as a result of the collision of a couple of fractured worlds. His job is to find all the pieces of the Astrolabe, an artifact that can change our hero's destiny. Fractured Worlds doesn't introduce any new gameplay mechanics.

It takes place in a new location where we will find new challenges, NPCs, and enemies. Just like in every Dark Souls game, we will have to face powerful bosses when playing The Ringed City.

The game takes the player on a journey to a fantasy world, which has been engulfed in chaos for many years.
