A spin-off installment to the Warner Bros.’ Batman: Arkham series, initially developed for handheld consoles. The story follows the plot of Batman: Arkham Origins, giving us the opportunity to experience more of Batman’s adventures from before when he became the Dark Knight. The action is set in the eponymous Blackgate prison, where Batman has to quell an inmate riot. Arkham Origins Blackgate is a classical beat ‘em up fighting game.

A sci-fi adventure that belongs to the visual novel sub-genre. Players follow the fate of a first year student at Tokyo University and a novice inventor. The game is a side title published in 2010 by Steins;Gate. Unlike him, he is not a science-fiction thriller, but a typical romantic comedy in which the protagonists of the original play the main roles.

As the franchise moved to a 3-year development cycle, the game was entrusted to Sledgehammer Games, a fresh developer studio, employing ex-creators of such game series as Dead Space or The Godfather. The game is set in the near future, where a private military corporation ATLAS tries to restore order in the world consumed by a global conflict.

Players have the opportunity to test their driving skills on two wheels overcoming dozens of two-dimensional obstacle courses. The creators took care of simple mini-games enriching the game and a functional multiplayer mode for up to four participants.
