Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy

A collection comprising of three installments in one of the most popular FPS series. It was created by Activision for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The set includes three games belonging to the subseries developed by Infinity Ward: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (including the additional Stimulus map package), and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The fifth major installment in a bestselling science fiction FPS game franchise, whose consecutive editions were exclusively released for different generations of Microsoft consoles. This is the first iteration dedicated to Xbox One, developed by 343 Industries - the studio responsible for the previous installment as well as a low-budget production Halo: Spartan Assault. In terms of the plot, this new title is a sequel to the previous game, and follows the events of Halo 4.

Remake of a classic FPS from 1994 - Rise of the Triad: Dark War. The game was produced by Danish development studio Interceptor Entertainment. The main theme of the main campaign are struggles with cultists who plan to destroy Los Angeles. Player takes the role of one of the five members of the H.U.N.T. squad and is sent on a mission to infiltrate the island on which the dangerous sect has its headquarters.
Half-Life 2: The Black Box

Half-Life 2: The Black Box was supposed to be a special set, prepared by Valve Software exclusively for PeCetach. Plans were for the package to include Half-Life 2: Episode Two, as well as Portal and Team Fortress 2. Ultimately, however, the project was abandoned in favour of a more extensive The Orange Box.

A multiplayer-only strategy FPS game by EA, being mostly a free version of the popular Battlefield 2. Unlike the cartoonish and more arcade-like Battlefield Heroes (2009), Battlefield Play4Free strives to be more realistic, which makes it similar to the major installments of the franchise. The mechanics of the game are a combination of those of the classic Battlefield 2 (most popular maps) and those of Bad Company 2, released a year before (character classes and weapons).

The story is focused on Daniel Garner and Belial who join forces to put an end to the bloody conflict between heaven and hell. The developers prepared a new solo campaign in which we have to kill six thousand enemies.

Unreal II brings a continuation to a classic FPS game released in 1998. The second installment was created by Legend Entertainment, and contrary to the spin-offs developed in the meantime (Unreal Tournament) it was created specifically to deliver a single player experience. The player takes on the role of John Dalton - an ex-soldier and a law enforcer, who patrols a distant sector of space aboard a vessel named Atlantis.

Painkiller: Battle Out of Hell

An official expansion for Painkiller, an FPS created by the Polish studio People Can Fly. Daniel Garner managed to defeat Lucifer but his throne was immediately taken by Alastor. The hero must pick up his weapons once again and face hordes from hell so he can finally defeat its new demonic ruler. The developers created ten new, complex maps for this expansion and each one of them has its unique style – during the game we visit, e.g. a demonic version of Stalingrad.
Wolfschanze 1944: The Final Attempt

A first-person shooter developed by Studio Calaris. The story of Wolfschanze: The Final Attempt was inspired by historic events – the player assumes the role of count Klaus Schenk von Stauffenberg, a German military officer that attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler in order to dispose the Nazi party of power and stop the war. As we know from history, the plot was unsuccessful, but the game offers an alternative, more spectacular version of the events.

Red Faction II

A sequel to a well-received FPS game developed by Volition. Red Faction II is set five years after the events depicted in the original game, when a civil war breaks out in the Commonwealth. The player assumes the role of Alias - an explosives expert belonging to a team of six super nanosoldiers. The protagonist joins a rebellion against Victor Sopot's totalitarian regime. In terms of mechanics, Red Faction II expands the patterns introduced in the first installment.
