A good opponent at the very beginning - I like it.

OBJECTIVE: Repel the attack on the Icecreek Sanctuary and save Serafia Aria from Zane, and his troops.

You start off a bit unusually, with a miniboss battle. Your task is to defeat an ice monster. The basic for fighting him is constant movement and dodging. Watch out for one of his attacks, especially - he jumps up into the air and slams to the ground. Make sure that your character is not standing within the blue area of effect. After the fight, go ahead and you will walk into the location, where there will be two doors opened for you. Your task is to cross the one on the left (after you go right, you will find a treasure chest but, it is being guarded by an elite troll and two minor crossbowmen). After a short walk, you will find a bridge - while crossing it, watch out for the ice spikes, which extend in certain spots. At the end of the bridge, there is a small welcoming committee - several smaller monsters and an elite troll.

Protect the Western wall

The wall defense boils down to surviving several waves of attack.

As you go ahead, you will reach a wall that you need to protect. The wall has no health bar, however - your task is to survive the successive waves of opponents. The arena is big, you will have no problems remaining in motion and swift elimination of successive waves. After the battle ends, the wall will be safe and you cross the newly-opened gate.

Destroy the spheres of darkness

You will reach the location shown in the screenshot. Your task is to destroy two devices that emit energy beams. A good way to avoid it is run around the sphere, while attacking it and the enemies at the same time. After you destroy the devices (watch out for the explosions) be on your way and watch out for the icy spikes on the bridge. You will get to the location whose destruction you need to prevent.

Protect the crystal altar

An enemy preparing the attack - you need to break them as quickly as possible .

Your task is to protect the altar in the center of the area. Try eliminating the enemies that shoot explosive projectiles at it, in the first place (interrupt their attacks) and the whirling warriors that also are damaging the altar. Remain in motion to avoid the crossbowmen - you need to withstand several waves of attacks. After the successful defense, be on your way and you will soon receive another mission.

Use the energy lock to start the bridge

Again, charge the lock - it is a good idea to use the totem of energy.

You need to charge the energy lock with your energy, thanks to which you will open the way ahead. First of all, deal with the enemies here and, after that, take to the lock. Watch out for more enemies, especially the ones that throw bombs - try to eliminate them and then return to the lock. Two, or three attempts will get the job done. You can use the totem of energy to speed it up.

As you go ahead, you will encounter several weaker opponents. In the spot shown in the screenshot, it is a good idea to take the narrow path and go down - you will find a big treasure chest there (it is being guarded by a miniboss and two warriors with bombs). Return to the main road and go up to reach, after several moments, the final checkpoint.

Defeat the ice elemental

This attack scared even Aria...

The fight with the elemental may be quite a challenge. In the first phase, watch out for his regular attacks, and especially the impetus drop towards the ground (the blue shape). Once you weaken him a bit, you will have to hide behind one of the four obstacles in the arena - the elemental will move to the center and send out its attack all around the area. Additionally, you need to watch out for the next attack of the opponent - he summons lumps of ice from under the ground. Although you can see where they impact, in the heat of the battle, you may inadvertently walk into that area, which is why you should be careful. It is a good idea to conduct the battle near one of the obstacles, thanks to which it is going to be easier for you to hide and the cat and mouse play may offer measurable profits. The situation with the AoE attack from the center of the arena will happen again when the health of your opponent drops to around 1/3 of the initial value. After you survive that attack, you should be able to win without major difficulties.
