Aspiring to become an online creator, we must be prepared for the fact that sooner or later, we will face greater or lesser criticism. The Internet is full of people who will inundate us with negative comments for any reason. There is also no definitive way to handle digital solicitations. Some ignore them, while others are very affected by them. Does this mean that there is no place for personal opinion on the Internet?

Are you praising the Ubisoft's game? You better confess

The Star Wars franchise hasn't had an easy life in the eyes of fans lately. The series The Acolyte faced massive criticism from the community, which gave it only 17% positive ratings on the RottenTomatoes service. The latest game, Star Wars Outlaws, seems to be shaping up in slightly better colors, and everything would be fine if it weren't for Ubisoft.

The French developer has been regularly upsetting players with various statements in recent months. At first, the company received criticism from the community for claiming that the games they bought didn't really belong to them. Later, Ubisoft had to deal with huge criticism regarding Assassin's Creed Shadows and some disappointment from many players around the world.

YouTuber GmanLives recently had the opportunity to test Star Wars Outlaws and said that he liked the game.

The creator expressed a positive opinion about the game in his video, which is published by Ubisoft. Despite the game being a month away from its release, it has long been written off by fans, primarily due to three different editions that players believe are designed to extract as much money from them as possible, and entirely unjustifiably.

As a result, the video received a lot of negative comments that criticized both the game and the author, who, according to viewers, simply sold out to Ubisoft. The audience cheekily asked how much money was needed for Gman to publish positive material about the game and why he didn't "admit" that he was sponsored.

The creator removes the video and uploads it again

This led to a situation in which the creator decided to remove the video and published a statement on his X account. The author emphasizes that he is removing the film and doesn't want to deal with long-term criticism.

I'm removing my Star Wars Outlaws video. I guess I forgot the cardinal rule where you're not allowed to say nice things about video games anymore. And I don't really want to get a months worth of abusive comments over it.

What was the reaction of the Internet users to this? Also hate. This time, the author was criticized for being a weakling who can't handle criticism, and if he is so interested in the opinions of anonymous people on the Internet, maybe he should do something other than YouTube.

Negative comments get to you? Then, you might not be cut out for youtube or social media in general. Perhaps an office job would work. Something very inclusive.

-- Hypnotic

In addition to those who mocked, there were also commentators who encouraged the creator to re-upload the video and simply ignore the criticism, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and doesn't have to worry about the opinions of others.

Encouraged by these comments, the author decided to republish the material, which 15 hours after publication boasts almost 38,000 views and lots of negative comments.

As we can notice, the video itself has returned to the starting point, however, the creator may have become more resistant to criticism. The situation itself clearly shows that Ubisoft's practices really don't like the majority of players who have already disliked Star Wars Outlaws. Anyone who has failed to do this is their public enemy number one.

There is also no indication that the situation will improve, and fans will change their mind about the upcoming production. Soon we will discover the final presentation of the title. Star Wars Outlaws release is scheduled for August 30, 2024.
