Xbox 360 Hits Appeared in Microsoft Store
The hits originally released on Xbox 360 have returned to the Microsoft Store, allowing Xbox One console owners to purchase and play such titles as Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Silent Hill: Downpour, DiRT 3 or Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. For the time being, it is not known whether these game will also be available on PC via Microsoft Store.
Everything seems to indicate that a group of iconic Xbox 360 games, which disappeared from the store some time ago due to license expiration, have just returned to Microsoft Store. From now on, Xbox One console users can purchase hits such as Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Dirt 3 or Silent Hill: Downpour. Unfortunately, the games are not yet available on PCs via Microsoft's store. The full list of games that have returned to the offer is presented below.
List of games that can be once again purchased from the Microsoft Store:
- Axel & Pixel
- Babel Rising
- Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
- Brutal Legend
- Burnout Paradise
- Deadly Premonition
- DiRT 3
- Fuel
- GRID 2
- Jurassic Park: The Game
- Midnight Club: Los Angeles
- Motocross Madness
- Overlord
- Pure
- Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X
- Silent Hill: Downpour
It is also worth adding that the aforementioned items can be purchased not only with a credit card, but also through other forms of payment (e.g. with a gift voucher). Previously this option was not possible. For the time being, Microsoft has not officially announced the return of these classics, although we can guess that it is an attempt to enrich the library before the release of the next-gen console, which is supposed to take full advantage of backwards compatibility.
