WoW: Shadowlands Patch 9.1.5 Will Introduce Solo Mode in Island Expeditions
Blizzard confirmed changes to Island Expeditions mode in the upcoming update 9.1.5 for World of Warcraft. Players will finally be able to acquire Azerite and unique items solo.
Players waiting for the opportunity to play solo in the island expeditions mode can rub their hands in glee. Blizzard confirmed that patch 9.1.5 will introduce such a possibility. The information met with a positive response from the World of Warcraft community - The change will enable collectors to more easily obtain pet mounts and transmogs from Battle For Azeroth. As a reminder: the island expeditions mode enables groups of three players to acquire Azerite on random maps. Players, having limited time, gain the valuable resource by fighting the islanders, completing quests, searching for treasure chests or mining it. On top of this, periodic events increase the difficulty and offer better rewards.
Time will tell if Blizzard will follow suit and fulfill another community request, unlocking in-game content from, for example, the Legion to solo players, which currently requires cooperation in multiplayer mode. All we know is that patch 9.1.5 will introduce more customization options for the Lightforged Draenei and Nightborne races. The release date of the update is still unknown.
