„Worms Like You’ve Never Played Before!” - Team17 Teases New Game

Team17 published a teaser trailer of the new installment of the Worms series. The British team also promised to reveal first information about the game soon.

The worm plague from the UK is back.

A lot of time has passed since the release of the latest part of the Worms series (quite successful part, by the way). If, after almost four years, you've missed the lovely (and deadly) worms, Team17's latest post on Twitter will probably be welcomed with enthusiasm. The British studio has posted information about a new installment of the famous series, apparently to be released this year. No details were given, but the mention of 2020 seems to indicate this year's debut of the title. The announcement is accompanied by a teaser, which you can watch below.

It's hard to deduce anything from this information. From the Tweet suggests that we can expect significant changes, but otherwise nothing more is given. Fortunately, the creators will not make us wait long for details - we are to know them "soon". Let's hope that this means "in the next few days" and not "in a couple of weeks", and Team17 will provide a good portion of details or maybe even a presentation.
