Wolfenstein: New Colossus is most likely a thing, says Blazkowicz voice actor
Hinted by Bethesda at this year's E3, now referred to by Blazkowicz voice actor, Wolfenstein: New Colossus seems to be the next Wolfenstein game.
There are solid reasons to believe that Wolfenstein: New Colossus is what Bethesda Softworks are working on. A word of introduction, first. During this year’s E3 an interesting piece of info was teased by Bethesda Softworks. At their conference a DOS screen was briefly shown with several of Bethesda’s games listed. Among them, right under The Old Blood, there was New Colossus, which appeared to be a subtitle for the next Wolfenstein game. New Colossus is most likely what B.J. Blazkowicz voice actor Brian Bloom is referring to to in an interview for Two Left Sticks, in which he says:
If you look at Bethesda’s E3 2016 lineup there was a title hinted at in a cool way. It sparked a bit of wildfire. That subtle, very simple DOS language, going through the titles. Perhaps we’re working on that as we speak.
The next Wolfenstein game has been looming on the horizon for some time now. The very first mention of the game roots back to September 2015, when Polish voice actress starring as Anya Oliwa in Wolfenstein: The New Order made it clear that she was working on that game’s sequel. According to her, the title was probably coming out in 2017. Anyway, it seems that the announcement of the next Wolfenstein is just a matter of time, and we don’t expect it to be a very long time too.
