Cestus in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Cestus was introduced in the first DLC for Wo Long Fallen Dynasty – Battle of Zhongyuan. This new weapon type strongly focuses on martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. While the damage from the single hit is rather weak, its main strength lay down in combos and fast attacks.
While you have Cestus equipped, you can increase your Spirit by up to 3 levels. It’s the biggest advantage of this weapon because each level grants you a positive effect. What is more, when you are in High Spirit (using Martial Arts or Fatal Strikes), amount of gained Spirit will be increased. Sadly, if you use your Spirit Attack, the surplus Spirit from your current level will be consumed. Remember, if you switch Cestus to a different type of weapon, you lose levels 2 and 3.

- Armor – White Horse General Set or Taishan Bandit Set,
- Primary spells – Thorn shot, Toxin Weapon, Absorb Vitality, Spirit Fervor,
- Divine Beast – Baihu / Tengshe,
- Primary stat – Metal,
- Secondary stat – Wood,
- Third stat – Fire.
When creating a build that specializes in hand-to-hand combat, you have to focus on buffing your martial and melee attack damage. Thanks to White Horse General Set, you will get a lot of bonus stats for those specific types of blows. The biggest drawback is that this armor is heavy, so if you want to wear something lighter, equip Taishan Bandit Set.
Your Wizardry Spells should focus on buffing your character and weapon. Thanks to this, your attacks will heal you and increase your Spirit Gain. What is more, you will apply toxins on enemies to enhance your damage potential.
