Will There Be Fallout Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video?
Fallout TV show has debuted on Amazon Prime Video. And although we just got the season 1, there are already questions about whether a season 2 will be created. We check out what's known about it.
Fallout TV series is already available on Amazon Prime Video. This new TV show is getting great ratings and is appreciated as a really good game adaptation of the popular post-apocalyptic series, which is set in a post-nuclear disaster world. Some people live in safe and orderly vaults, while the rest live in a dangerous wasteland, where danger lurks around every corner.
All episodes of Fallout were added on Prime Video on the day of its release. The TV series has been quite popular, so it's no surprise that not a month has passed and Amazon has already decided to greenlit Fallout season 2. The decision was made only a week after the premiere of the production, so there was no delay. The TV series' viewership must have pleased the producers, since they didn’t wait even a moment before announcing season 2.
Jonah, Lisa, Geneva, and Graham have captivated the world with this ground-breaking, wild ride of a show. The bar was high for lovers of this iconic video game and so far we seem to have exceeded their expectations, while bringing in millions of new fans to the franchise. The cast led by Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyle MacLachlan have knocked it out of the park! We’d like to thank Jonah and Lisa and our friends at Bethesda for bringing the show to us as well as Geneva and Graham for coming aboard as showrunners. We are thrilled to announce season two after only one week out and take viewers even farther into the surreal world of Fallout – Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios.
The creators assured some time ago that they have ideas for a further story, which they told during an interview with The Direct.
We do not have [a season 2] yet, but we're hoping to get one because we certainly have so many things that we could not fit into eight hours in season 1 that we really, really want to do. That was the hardest, I think, part of adapting all of this was the fact that there's just nonstop treasure in 25 years of Fallout games, and you want to bring everything to the screen, but you can't because you can't do justice to all of it, right?
So as you can see, the plans for a second season are there, and now all that's left is to wait for the creators, crew and cast to prepare Fallout season 2 for us, now that this one has been decided to be made.
