Horror fans are certainly looking forward to one streaming release this year – Robert Eggers' new Nosferatu. The production with Bill Skarsgard is generating a lot of interest, after all, it's a new approach to classic horror, something like this can't be ignored. Especially with such a director behind the camera.

When will Nosferatu premiere at the Peacock?

So when can those who have not managed to watch the film in theaters or are waiting for a re-screening at home look forward to the release of the production online? It has been announced that Nosferatu will be released on Peacock on February 21, 2025. We are therefore a few days away from the premiere.

And it won't be without surprises, as a previously unseen Eggers' extended cut is expected to be on Peacock in addition to the theatrical version. This is certainly the perfect excuse to reach for the new Nosferatu once again and watch it to see how the extended version differs from the theatrical one.

In addition to the aforementioned Skarsgard, who plays Count Orlok in Nosferatu, the cast includes Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, Nicholas Hoult as Thomas Hutter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Friedrich Harding, Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, Willem Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers and Simon McBurney as Herr Knock.

What was the reception of Robert Eggers' new film? On Rotten Tomatoes, Nosferatu is liked by both viewers and critics. It has 73% positive reviews from the former and 84% from the latter. On IMDb the film is rated 7.3/10, which is not bad, and on Letterboxd it has a rating of 3.8/5.
