When is Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle Coming Out in Cinemas?
Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle has received a release date in USA and other countries. When will we see this anime in cinemas?
CinemaCon 2024 is a major film event, held in Las Vegas, where we can learn something about the future of certain productions. And thus we learned the release date of Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle outside Japan. The film will debut in the US on May 31, as well as in Canada, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK and Poland.
On May 30 it will be available to viewers from Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland (Italian-speaking), Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama), Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru. June 7 from Turkey, and June 12 from Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland (French-speaking). Anime fans from Austria and Germany must wait until June 25, and from Switzerland (German-speaking) until June 27.
So far, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle has only been released in cinemas in Japan, but it has already done quite well there, earning $57.8 million, becoming the country's top-grossing anime film in 2024. This is a really great result, which will surely be improved upon after distribution in other countries.
Anime films are increasingly appearing in cinemas outside Japan. This certainly pleases fans of the genre, who have been waiting to see Japanese productions on the big screens. Recent theatrical releases around the world include such titles as The Boy and the Heron and Suzume, and this year, in addition to Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle we will also see SPY×FAMILY Code: White.
And what is the new Haikyu movie actually about? In it, the volleyball team from Karasuno High face their eternal rivals from Nekoma High in the highly anticipated "Dumpster Battle." The tension during this match reaches a peak as both teams are determined to emerge victorious.
