Netflix is working on a new limited series – Black Rabbit. It will be produced by the stars of that title – Jason Bateman and Jude Law. The former man will also direct the first two episodes. The production was announced in October 2022 and work has finally begun on its set.

Black Rabbit will tell the story of two brothers and their complicated relationship. One of them has worked hard for his success and now owns a popular spot in New York City, but everything he has earned for himself may be destroyed after he lets a chaotic brother back into his life with dangers behind him.

When will Black Rabbit be released on Netflix?

According to reports, filming for Black Rabbit began on April 15, 2024, and is expected to take a little over five months. This means that unless there are some delays, it will be completed around September. Further on, post-production work will continue, which we can expect to take another few months, so we can expect the release of Black Rabbit no earlier than early or mid-2025. And these are very optimistic forecasts.

In addition to Jud Law and Jason Bateman, the TV series will star Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Sope Dirisu, Dagmara Dominczyk, Chris Coy, Troy Kotsur, Abbey Lee, Odessa Young, Robin De Jesus, Amir Malaklou, Don Harvey, Forrest Weber, Francis Benhamou, Gus Birney, John Ales and Steve Witting. Zach Baylin and Kate Susman are responsible for the Black Rabbit scripts.

It promises to be an interesting production to follow. Unfortunately, we won’t soon get the first promotional materials of this title.
