When Does Strange Way of Life Come to Streaming? Pedro Pascal's Queer Western Romance Gets Netflix Release Date
Strange Way of Life, a queer romance starring Pedro Pascal, got a release date on Netflix.
Last year there was buzz about Pedro Pascal's performance in Pedro Almodóvar's short film, Strange Way of Life, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. The production takes a look at the complicated relationship of gunslingers and former lovers who meet again after 25 years. In addition to Pascal, the film stars Ethan Hawke.
Almodóvar's production is immediately reminiscent of Brokeback Mountain, which also explored the theme of masculinity in a meaningful way, but deviated from the traditional way of showing this for the western genre.
Not surprisingly, Strange Way of Life is generating interest, and certainly many people have been waiting for the short film to appear on streaming. And finally it will be possible to watch it online – Strange Way of Life will be available on Netflix on April 12.
The movie is worthy of interest not only because of its intriguing subject and cast, but also the ratings from critics. Those in their reviews mostly spoke positively about Strange Way of Life, so it looks like it's worth reaching for this title.
