A docuseries has been made about the experiences of child actors on the sets of iconic TV shows from the 90s. Where and when to watch Quiet on Set?
In the new documentary series Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, Drake Bell, star of Drake & Josh, and other child actors open up about the difficult experiences they faced while working on Nickelodeon shows.
The program will discuss reports of a toxic environment on the 90s sets led by Dan Schneider, who for Nickelodeon created series like just Drake & Josh, The Amanda Show, iCarly, Victorious and Sam & Cat.
Viewers can watch this four-part program on streaming and traditional TV. Online you can find it at Max and by logging onto investigationdiscovery.com with your TV provider credentials, while on traditional TV it will be broadcast on the Discovery Channel (ID) on March 18 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
Among others at Quiet on Set, Drake Bell will talk about his experiences with dialogue coach Brian Peck, who was jailed for 16 months in 2004 for committing a lewd act against a child and oral copulation of a person under 16. People who worked on All That, The Amanda Show, Double Dare and Zoey 101 will also speak in the documentary series.
