What Efficiency Means in Endless Dungeon
Efficiency in Endless Dungeon is a stat that some players find confusing. Check out our guide to see how it works.
Endless Dungeon players are all familiar the stat Efficiency, which appears on most available Chips you can equip to characters. Some Hero Specific Upgrades also give more Efficiency to specific Abilities. However, many players don’t actually know what it does. In this guide, we explain what Efficiency affects in the game.
What Efficiency Means in Endless Dungeon
Keep in mind that developers are aware Efficiency is confusing for players, and the stat will be renamed in a future patch.
Efficiency in Endless Dungeon affects the strength of the effects of each character’s Hero Skills, increasing it by a given percent. Chips or Hero Specific upgrades can increase Efficiency from +25% to even +200% on a given Ability. It means that for each Hero, what Efficiency boosts will be different, but the general amplifying effect will be the same.
For example, an increased Efficiency will make Shroom heal more, make Fassie’s buffs better, increases Sweeper’s slow, and so on.
Efficiency boosting chips can also be installed on Turrets, and will make their effects stronger in a similar way.
Contrary to the popular belief, Efficiency does not affect cooldown of Abilities, as there is another stat responsible for doing so.
