Wesker was buffed in DBD 2v8, but game breaking bug follows him
In the latest incarnation of Dead by Daylight 2v8 mode you can play as Wesker. However, this can be risky.

Popular Dead by Daylight 2v8 mode is available again. This time, the event has Resident Evil theme. So, you can play as popular killers from the horror franchise – Wesker and Nemesis. The first one, despite the buffs, unfortunately has some problems. All because of a rather serious bug.
Wesker with game breaking bug in DBD 2v8
When you enter 2v8 in DBD, you will see some differences relative to regular gameplay. In this mode, survivors are automatically sent to the cages when killer picks them up. Unfortunately, many players report the game breaking bug. Beware of grabbing a person (or being grabbed) with Mastermind’s ability.
If you do that (or you are a victim), there is a chance that the survivor will never go to the “hook” and they will get stuck on Wesker’s shoulder. At this point there is nothing you can do. It is impossible to drop the victim down. Stuns also do not work. Even the endgame collapse does not resolve the problem. If you don’t want to lose points, you must wait several minutes after the hunt ends, as the server goes offline.
Wesker (The Mastermind) power in DBD 2v8 explained
When you aren’t bugged, you can see that Wesker was significantly buffed. He has always been a strong killer, but this makes him even more aggressive in chase. So, let's look at the changes that developers have made:
- First of all, now Wesker has three dashes instead of two. This makes it easier to catch survivors and allows you to correct the mistakes.
- Moreover, the time to perform certain actions (like vaulting) when you use the innate skill was decreased. So, now survivors have less time to distance themselves from the killer. This can determine whether they can make another loop or run to the next safe place.
If you decide to play as Wesker, you have access to powerful chase tools, but there is also a risk that you will stuck with the survivor on your shoulder. You must judge the odds yourself.
