Relase Date of Palworld, One of the Most Anticipated Games on Steam
We have learned when exactly the Pokemon series-inspired game Palworld will hit early access. The production with gun-toting creatures is eagerly awaited by thousands of fans.
Today, Pocketpair shared information about the debut date of its upcoming game inspired by the famous Pokemon series. Palworld, as this is the title in question, will be released on January 19 in early access on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
At the same time, a new, short trailer for Palworld has been published (below), thanks to which you can get to know the appearance of some of the creatures and take a look at the graphics.
Take care of your charges or eat them.
Palworld has several points in common with the popular Pokemon games. In the game from Pocketpair, we catch colorful creatures (called Pals here), which we can use to battle encountered enemies, including bosses. The biggest difference compared to Game Freak's series is that in Palworld our players can use various types of "guns" (e.g. huge grenade launchers), and there are many more interesting activities waiting for the player.
The main goal here seems to be keeping the Pals alive. We need to take care of the creatures by providing them with food and training them - if we treat them badly or forget about them, they may turn against us. The danger also applies to the player, who, while visiting various types of biomes, cannot forget about his/her own needs. If necessary, you can even eat your own Pals...
There will be plenty of other things to do in Palworld as well. You can develop a farm, build structures (e.g. pyramids), and even run a factory. In all these tasks, we will be helped by previously caught creatures, which - as the creators claim - are not subject to any labor law.
Pals can travel and fight with us in dangerous dungeons. The main character is not defenseless, however, as they have access to rifles, swords, and bows. In the event that the situation on the battlefield gets out of control, you can mount your creature (some can fly or swim) and escape to the base.
Palworld can be played solo or in a cooperation mode of up to 4 people, which will enable us to travel side by side with friends. Moreover, just like in the Pokemon series games, you will be able to trade creatures with them.
Is a hit coming up?
It is worth noting that the interest in Palworld is huge. The game is ranked 10th place among the game most frequently added to wishlists on Steam. Data from SteamDB shows that Palworld has over 113,000 followers on Valve's platform.
Will Palworld turn out to be this year's hit, we will find out after the title's debut. It is expected to spend at least a year in early access, and the creators want to develop it, regularly adding, among others: new creatures, items and areas. Over 100 different "pals" were prepared for the start.
