We Know the Voice Actor for V in CP2077

If you were wondering who's voicing the male protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077, ponder no more. The identity of the actor was revealed by CD Projekt RED's community manager on Disqord.

We know for certain who’s going to voice the male protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077. After the latest E3 trailer, fans of the upcoming blockbuster by Polish CD Projekt Red have been speculating about who’s voice V, the main character of the game, is speaking with. Some details regarding that have surfaced in the web lately.

The first leak comes from Goodbye Kansas, an American company specialized in CGI, animation, and mo-cap. After the prominent Microsoft conference, during which Keanu Reeves stole our hearts and breath, the company published on its website a trailer along with a full list of credits. The list included the name Gavin Drea.

After the trailer was published, players still weren’t sure whether the man will indeed be the main voice actor in the game – until Amelia Kolat, aka Lilayah, the community manager at CDPR, gave the definitive answer. On one of Disqord channels, responding to a very direct question of who voices V, she gave a very direct answer – Gavin Drea.

Garvin Drea is an aspiring actor, who only has a few supporting roles in his portfolio, including in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (as Sargeant Cooper), Barbarians Rising TV series (Aleryk), or What Richard Did (Stephen O’Brien). His involvement in Cyberpunk 2077 could be a groundbreaking moment in his career, which we certainly hope for.
