Wartales to Receive Online Co-op in Summer

Shiro Games updated the development plans for Wartales. Among the most interesting upcoming novelties is the online co-op mode.

A few days ago, early access game Wartales received a major update called Harag's Marshlands. On this occasion, the developers have updated the game's roadmap. Compared to the previous schedule, the biggest new feature is the network co-op mode, which is expected to debut this summer.

Spring 2022: Community Update

This spring Wartales is expected to receive one more major update with new content. It will offer:

  1. Ability to recruit captured units.
  2. Relationships between companions on the player's party.
  3. Additional character modification options.
  4. Ability to upgrade legendary items.
  5. Various smaller changes suggested by players.

Summer 2022: Multiplayer Update

The next big update will be released this summer and will offer an online co-op mode.

  1. Co-op will enable up to 4 players to play simultaneously.
  2. In the co-op mode players will fight together and spend time together in camps.
  3. Loot will be shared between players, but there will also be an option to cheat your comrades in arms.

Further Plans: Content Update

Further plans, for which there is no set date at the moment, include the following attractions:

  1. A new region (Merchants City).
  2. Possibility to discover the secrets of the capital.
  3. Further increase of the character level cap.
  4. The opportunity to take part in the Grand Tournament.
  5. Option of upgrading the equipment used in our camps.

Recall that other additional regions and a random content generation system are also planned, but these novelties will be released after the aforementioned update.
