How to catch animals in Wartales
To start with, we will need a rope. The more, the better, because in case of some animals, such as a bear or a boar, it is necessary to use 5 or 3 units of this item in turn. We can buy it in prisons, cities, from farmers, or find it while exploring the world.
Then we have to start a fight with the animal and bring its life points below 50%. Then it will be necessary to use a Ranger or an Archer, who will tackle the opponent from behind or from the side, after which the message "Capture an Animal" will be displayed. Then use the rope to bind the beast, but remember that the fewer life points it has, the better the chances of catching it. Remember that the new companion will be injured and should be healed.
How to catch prisoners in Wartales
Capturing prisoners is very similar to catching animals, but there are a few differences. For this purpose we need chains, which can be purchased in the prison. Then, during the fight, we bring the enemy's life points below 50% and make sure he is busy dueling one of our characters. Then we get behind the enemy with another unit and stun him with the "Knockout" skill.
Note that "Knockout" is considered a basic attack, so using this skill will not be possible in the same turn if the character has already attacked.
