Feast for Warframe Fans; Two New Expansions Announced

Digital Extremes has decided to make fans of the online game Warframe happy by announcing two more expansions - Veilbreaker and The Duviri Paradox.

The TennCon 2022 event, a virtual convention organized for fans of the Digital Extremes studio, has come to an end. During it, the team announced two new expansions for the online game Warframe.

Veilbreaker

First, we will play the Veilbreaker DLC. No exact release date for it has been given, but it has been promised that it will be released soon. It will be a single-player adventure, in which we will take on the role of Kahl-175, well known to fans, who will fight for his freedom and that of his brothers from the Grineer faction.

In addition, four-player groups will also be able to face reinforced versions of the Archons, the bosses from the New War expansion.

The Duviri Paradox

The second and much larger DLC is The Duviri Paradox, which will be released this winter. The expansion will take us to a strange almost colorless land, where as a character known as Drifter we will try to break out of a time loop.

This will be done in a form inspired by roguelike games. Players will start each cycle almost from scratch, gathering abilities and upgrades. However, there will also be a progression system that preserves some of the progress, so that our character will slowly become more powerful with each passing day.

During the game we will occupy more territories of the land, restoring their colors. In addition to combat challenges, there will also be a lot of ingenious puzzles, e.g. requiring cooperation between two versions of our character from different time periods.
