Schreier: One of Upcoming Warcraft Games is to Resemble Pokemon GO

According to well-known journalist Jason Schreier, there are two mobile games set in the world of Warcraft being developed right now. One of them is supposed to resemble Pokemon GO.

Well-known journalist Jason Schreier - we've written about his reports many times - posted an interesting information on ResetEra forum. He claims two mobile games from the Warcraft franchise are to be under development.

  1. One of them will supposedly resemble the hit Pokemon GO.
  2. The other will offer gameplay straight from Clash of Clans or Clash Royale (the informant did not specify which of these two games exactly he was referring to, but most likely he's talking about former).
  3. Schreier revealed that he's heard good things about both titles.
  4. However, the journalist did not reveal when they will be released or which studio(s) are responsible for them.

Blizzard's latest announcements

It is worth mentioning that a week ago Blizzard announced the 9th expansion for World of Warcraft, titled Dragonflight. At the same time the studio revealed Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the second expansion for World of Warcraft Classic ..

The release date of both is unknown at the moment, although those particularly interested in them can sign up for beta tests.
