Strategy Game War Hospital Delayed to Next Year

Publisher Nacon and developer Brave Lamb Studio have announced that the release of War Hospital has been delayed. Although the game was originally scheduled to debut on October 26, it will ultimately go on sale only in early 2024.

As revealed in the official announcement, the delay of the release is due to the desire to create a game that reflects the specifics of the subject as realistically as possible. War Hospital is characterized by a variety of mechanics, including management, strategic layer and RPG elements. The complexity of these systems has meant that the developers need more time to fine-tune them than they initially anticipated.

War Hospital is headed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

1. The action of War Hospital is set during World War I. During the course of the game, we play the role of a retired doctor - Major Henry Well. After the outbreak of the global conflict, the doctor is called back into service and finds himself on the French front, where he will manage a field hospital.
2. The pillar of the gameplay in War Hospital will be saving the lives of wounded soldiers using available tools and resources. The player is expected to manage a field hospital, making choices about all aspects of its operation. Once a patient is admitted, we will review his health card and decide on a treatment strategy. Every decision is expected to affect the outcome of treatment.
3. As we progress, the game will enable us to upgrade our equipment, which will increase the chances of successful treatments. In addition, the player will have to take care of the morale of employees and survivors.
