Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has its fair share of challenging content. Alternate paths and Sparking Episodes can be tough to unlock, especially when the game doesn't provide clear guidance. Just like in A New Power Awakens or Piccolo Returns to His Birthplace, in Vegeta and Trunks stage, there is an unknown time limit to unlock Power of Perfection. Here are all the details that you need to know.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – How to Defeat Super Trunks

Before you go any further, make sure to check our DB: Sparking Zero Guide for the most essential tips and tricks. We also break down other complex alternate paths and endings, like those in Jiren or Goku’s Sagas.

To unlock this Sparking Episode in Vegeta’s Saga, you need to defeat Android 18 in Wind-Up Doll fight. Vegeta and Trunks stage has two branching paths:

  1. Battle with Cell ending, which leads to the main path and continues with Super Vegeta.
  2. Or Power of Perfection stage.

To access the Power of Perfection stage, you must defeat Super Trunks in less than 40 seconds. Keep in mind that special attacks during sparking mode don’t count toward this timer. If you hear Trunks say something like, 'I shouldn’t even bother,' it means you didn’t make it in time and should restart.

Also, you can't achieve this at lower difficulty, and it's crucial to avoid taking too much damage during the fight. Mastering sonic sway, dodging, performing a super counter, and deflecting beams are essential strategies.

If you’ve tried multiple times without success, try collecting the Dragon Balls to summon Shenron, Super Shenron, or Porunga. You can wish for a Dragon Orb, which lowers the difficulty of alternate objectives in Episode battles.
