Poncle has announced that the hit Vampire Survivors will soon receive a co-op mode played on a single screen.
- Co-op will be added for free via an update.
- The patch will be released on August 17, this year.
- Up to four people will be able to play simultaneously in the co-op mode.
- Players will continue to play in co-op from saved game states from single player mode and add additional players on the character selection screen before starting a level.
- Player characters will have to be different.
- After death, the player will end up in a coffin and will be reborn over time.
- An additional attraction of the co-op mode is to be a new item in the form of the Amulet of Friendship. It may appear on the level-up screen and raise the level of a random weapon for each player.
Hero progression is expected to work a little differently in the co-op mode. The XP bar will remain the same, but players are to gain levels in turns. If one companion dies, their progress will be passed on to the next player.
that Vampire Survivors is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. It is worth mentioning that on August 17, with the release of an update with a cooperative mode, a Nintendo Switch port will finally be released.
