Vampire Survivors continues to enjoy enormous popularity. The game has just set another record in terms of the number of simultaneously active players on Steam.
As you can see on SteamDB, yesterday more than 77 thousand people played poncle's game at the same time. This is about 6 thousand more than a week ago, when the previous record was set.
The reason for the increased number of players is probably the update released the day before yesterday. The latest patch number 0.2.13 introduced another character, which apparently sparked a lot of interest among players.
A large impact on the results pf Vampire Survivors is certainly the viral nature of the title. The game enjoys great popularity among others on Twitch, where the broadcasts are watched by tens of thousands of players.
What's next for Vampire Survivors?
If the next updates will continue to pick up player interest, we can expect more records on Steam. Creator of Vampire Survivors has already announced patch 0.3.0, which will introduce many new features to the game.
The update will enrich the game with an additional map, opponents and even a new mechanic, about which we know nothing for now for now. The update will debut this coming weekend.
