Ubisoft Invites Players to Test Untitled Shooter

Ubisoft will soon begin the next stage of closed testing of its mysterious production. Project U – the game's codename – is a co-op shooter announced back in 2022.

Do you still remember Project U? This cooperative shooter from Ubisoft announced in 2022 is still in development. Soon a selected group of players will be able to check out this still very mysterious game. The French company announced another round of closed tests.

Codename Project U is a new kind of session-based cooperative shooter, in which players unite in massive battles against overwhelming legions of machines. - reads a fragment of the developers' announcement.

According to information posted on Ubisoft's website, the tests will be done only on PC and will take place from February 1 to February 6 in Europe and North America. Those interested can register here.

We're thrilled to invite you to the test and to gather your feedback in order to improve the game experience and steer production in the right direction! - we read on.

Even though the tests will be open for people from many countries "the sound in the game will only be available in English." The interface and subtitles will be available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German.

The page also includes the minimum and recommended PC system requirements. Here they are:

Project U - minimum PC system requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  2. RAM: 8 GB
  3. Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB VRAM or AMD Radeon RX 570 with 8 GB VRAM

Project U - recommended PC system requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  2. RAM: 8 GB
  3. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT with 8 GB VRAM

Ubisoft also reminds that the tests are confidential, so no materials from them can be distributed.
