Ubisoft and id Software with Google on GDC 2019
Two major players, Ubisoft and id Software, will be present on Google's conference during the upcoming GDC 2019 event in San Francisco.
Yesterday we learned that Google is planning to announce something big and connected with gaming at the GDC 2019 conference in San Francisco next week. Most likely, this it will be the mysterious Project Stream, a game streaming service that has been developed by the company for some time. It seems that the event will be attended by at least two large companies from the industry - Ubisoft and id Software.
The presence of the first company is not surprising - Ubisoft has been involved in the work on the mysterious Google project for a some time now (for example, the testing of the service was carried out using the latest part of one of the company's flagship series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey). However, cooperation with the other developer is a novelty. We'll see how the creators of Doom and Rage 2 will mark their presence at the conference.
Google's presentation will take place on March 19. It is worth noting that, according to recent reports, the platform developed by the network giant might be something more than just a streaming device (although for the time this is 's just a rumors). It is also worth mentioning that Google has patented a modern controller, whose appearance strongly resembles DualShock 4.
