If you loved the cozy, small-town feel and fantasy world of Stardew Valley, but crave a twist on the genre to keep things fresh, Travellers Rest might be your perfect life sim until Haunted Chocolatier arrives. It lets you manage your own tavern, craft unique dishes, and explore the medieval landscape on your own pace. Wondering if this game will be released on consoles? Read on, to find out more.

Console Release (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch) of Travellers Rest

Travellers Rest just had a major update, adding a new story and expanding the world with a bustling city and a cast of quirky characters. With the game still in Early Access and a roadmap packed with future content, players are eager to know: will Isolated Games bring this tavern sim to consoles?

While Travellers Rest is currently available exclusively on PC via Steam, its full controller support and Steam Deck verification strongly suggest a potential console port down the line. Unfortunately, the developers haven't revealed any official plans just yet. However, there have been mentions of future console releases at the game’s full launch in Steam discussions, so it's something to keep an eye on.

Travellers Rest 1.0 is shaping up to be epic! The wait might feel long, but it will be worth it for online multiplayer, a thrilling new card game, uncharted areas to discover, social relationships, your very own loyal dog, and so much more! For now, all we can do is be patient and keep petting our tavern cat.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
