Today, as was announced, free game Trackmania launched on PC. The title formerly known as a remake of Trackmania Nations is now available on Uplay and will soon be available on Epic Games Store. We would like to remind, that although the game is available free of charge, the players can buy a subscription. We can choose between Standard Access and Club Access, both paid for a year. The cheaper subscription costs $9.99, while the more expensive one costs $29.99.

First reviews:
- Digital Chumps - 8.5/10
- IGN - 7/10
- Game Central Metro - 7/10
As you can see, the new Trackmania has not yet received many reviews. Nevertheless, the reviews published so far enable us to think that the devs delivered a decent title. Fans of the series received crazy, arcade gameplay, for which the series is famous. Races and time trials, in which we rush at breakneck speeds and are just an inch away from losing control of the vehicle at any time provide a lot of excitement. The visuals may not compare to Forza or any other Gran Turismo, but they fits in with the light style of the gameplay.
However, Trackmania has two disadvantages, which are mentioned by critics. The first one is the lack of an extensive tutorial typical of the series. The game explains the basics but does not even mention the various nuances of the game, which we need to know if we want to achieve the best times on the tracks. Thus, newcomers are left on their own (and the Internet to help them), which may prove burdensome for some. The second issue is the subscription system. It's a bit too complicated, which the reviewers find problematic. What's worse is that if we want to enjoy the opportunities offered by Trackmania's content - including those created by other players - sooner or later we have to buy paid access.
