THPS 1+2 Update Adds Tons of New Challenges and Crash Bandicoot Skins
Today, an update for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 will be released, which will introduce a hundred new challenges, Solo Tours mode and Crash Bandicoot-related items.
- Items related to the Crash Bandicoot series,
- Solo Tours mode,
- 100 new challenges,
- Changes in progression system to make it easier to reach level 100,
- Three custom decks made by fans, selected in competition.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 received an update with new content today, including elements related to the Crash Bandicoot series.
The patch enriches the game with a dozen or so new items related to the iconic platform game series, available in Create-A-Skater module (character wizard). Among them we will find ten T-shirts, three caps and a skateboard.
Patch is not be limited to elements inspired by Crash Bandicoot. It will also introduce the so-called Solo Tours, enabling us to play the Tours mode again with a single skater, which will enable us to max out his/her stats. At the beginning of each Solo Tour the goals and medals will be reset. However, we will not lose the progress made in the current mode of Tours, as they will be moved to the so-called Crew Tours.
The patch will also introduce a hundred new challenges, scattered across different game modes. Their completion will be rewarded with a large number of experience points and cash. We can also expect modifications to the multiplayer playlists, which will ensure better randomization of parks and results in Jams and Competitive variants. The devs also promise changes in the progression system to make it easier to reach level 100.
In addition, the game will include custom decks prepared by three fans, whose works were selected in the Create-A-Deck competition.
In addition, the so-called Birdman Pack, created in cooperation with The Skatepark Project (formerly Tony Hawk Foundation), will be sold today. The 100% of net income from the sale of the pack will be transferred to the construction of public skateparks for young people in poor communities. The DLC will include classic and additional decks from Birdhouse and Powell-Peralt and an exclusive new TSP deck.
