Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy Leaked
Thanks to Microsoft Store's error, we've learned that Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, a collection featuring the last three installments along with their expansions, is coming.
Microsoft Store's website has long been a great source of information about unannounced projects. For some reason, cards of products that are yet to be revealed by the publishers are often leaked there. The latest example of this is the appearance of a product titled Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, a collection containing the last three installments of the series of Lara Croft's adventures. The entry was quickly removed, but the cat is out of the bag and the gamers managed to take screenshots.
According to the deleted card, the set will include Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. So we'll get the last three installments of the series along with all the expansions, as well as bonus content that was available as part of pre-orders.
The product card does not mention hardware platforms, but from the description we can deduce that Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy is heading for Xbox One . However, we'd be surprised if the collection didn't also make it to PC and PS4 as well. The set will also be available on Xbox Series X/S owners thanks to backwards compatibility, but it's unclear if there are any upgrades in the pipeline with that console in mind.
Of course, until Square Enix officially announces the collection, all of this information should be taken with a grain of salt, but these types of leaks from the Microsoft Store almost always turn out to be true.
We shouldn't have to wait long for the reveal of Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy. According to the deleted card in the store, the collection is scheduled to launch on March 18 this year.
