Time to fight! Go On Board announced Tekken The Board Game
Tekken hits the tabletop. Go On Board revealed their upcoming project and the pre-campaign on Gamefound is live now, offering an impressive gift.

Tabletop games based on popular IPs have blown up in recent years, with hits like Heroes of Might and Magic and even Stardew Valley getting the board game treatment. So, let’s just pretend Thorgal never happened and focus on what’s coming next – because this one caught me off guard. Go On Board just released a teaser for their next project: Tekken – The Board Game.
Get ready for the next battle!
Go on Board announced a surprising collab with Bandai Namco. On March 24, they kicked off the pre-campaign for Tekken – The Board Game on Gamefound. The game is designed to bring the fast-paced action of the Tekken series to the tabletop, giving players an immersive way to throw down outside the screen.
We'll go head-to-head in intense one-on-one battles, each controlling a unique fighter with their own set of skill cards. Winning isn’t just about brute force – it’s about mastering your character’s playstyle, knowing their best attack zones, and pulling off powerful combos. The game leans heavily on mind games, smart positioning, and well-timed surprise attacks. We’ll need to manage our hands carefully, read our opponents, and use the hex-based board to our advantage.
Some of Tekken’s signature mechanics, like Wall Break, Floor Break, and Wall Blast, are built into the board game. And if one-on-one fights aren’t enough, there’s even a tournament mode for up to eight players, making for some seriously competitive showdowns.
So far, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama are confirmed fighters, with more characters set to be revealed as the campaign unfolds (fingers crossed for Lili!). Anyone who follows and backs the campaign will receive an Angel Jin expansion, complete with a 50mm miniature and cards.
If you haven’t heard of Go On Board, they’re a Polish tabletop company known for making The Witcher: Old World, and they’ve got The Witcher: Path of Destiny coming out soon. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077 – The Board Game is set for release in December 2025.
