New Jagged Alliance 3 Info in August; THQ Nordic Announces Game Show
New news on Jagged Alliance 3 should be expected in August at the most. That's when THQ Nordic has announced its second video game show.
On September 17, 2021 we've witnessed a solo presentation by THQ Nordic, at which the company unveiled several fresh games, as well as showcased a number of previously announced titles. One of the new releases was Jagged Alliance 3 developed by studio Haemimont Games. We got a trailer, PC system requirements, and... nothing more since.
The silence will be broken on August 12, 2022, at which time THQ Nordic has scheduled the second edition of its Digital Showcase. According to the publisher, we're in for a "massive strike" as many new, diverse - both gameplay-wise and stylistically - games will once again be announced. This is also when we will learn more details about the previously announced games - including Jagged Alliance 3 and Outcast 2: A New Beginning (also announced a year ago).
In order to create a tradition of sorts, the actual show will again be preceded by a short event by Handy Games. At the moment, however, we do not know whether the next edition of the event will also be hosted by the well-known game presenter Geoff Keighley, who recently announced that despite the absence of E3 2022 Summer Game Fest 2022 will take place anyway.
What can we expect at the Digital Showcase in addition to the two aforementioned titles? THQ Nordic has so many developers under its umbrella that it's hard to speculate. After last year's showcase, the company issued an announcement, stating that as many as 28 games were waiting to be revealed. However, I would not be surprised if now there are more - in the most optimistic scenario we could count on the announcement of, among others Elex 3.
