„There Is Also a Lot of Nudity Happening.” Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Have Declared a Hilarious War Against Glen Powell. It’s Because of the Star of Deadpool and Wolverine
There was an unusual rivalry in the film industry this summer. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman decided to speak out on it, as it relates to the star of Deadpool and Wolverine.
Glen Powell recently reigned supreme in theaters with his two summer blockbusters, the films Hit Man and Twisters. The second production is currently competing with Deadpool and Wolverine due to the fact that both shows are now playing on big screens. It seems that the stars of Marvel's blockbuster have decided to heat up the atmosphere around this rivalry by declaring war between the mascots of both movies – Dogpool and Brisket.
Dogpool, or more precisely Peggy, and Brisket are, of course, dogs, the former having appeared in the film Deadpool and Wolverine, the latter being Powell's pet, whom the actor adopted while filming Twisters and who became a kind of mascot for the production while promoting the film. Thanks to Powell taking his pet almost everywhere and sharing adorable photos with him, the world went crazy for Brisket, who now has growing competition to become Hollywood's animal overlord.
Reynolds and Jackman picked out their "dog of the summer" during an interview with etalk, betting, of course, on Dogpool. In his response, Reynolds chose to refer to Powell's famous photo of Brisket, noting that in the photos fellow actor shares "there is also a lot of nudity happening with the dog," and he's not sure Dogpool would look as good as Brisket in such photos. He did, however, mention Peggy's other qualities.
Peggy is like the most special little dog on this planet. She steals the show. You know, Brisket sounds really sweet, I feel like if you meet Peggy, you won’t f**king forget that.
Jackman, on the other hand, added that Dogpool shouldn’t be messed with. And Reynolds agreed with him, arguing that Dogpool is a real badass.
I know Brisket has clearly been through a lot of like tornados and twisters, but don’t f*ck with Dogpool.
So it looks like we have two dog stars of summer cinema competing to be the biggest one.
