The Witcher Meets Thorgal in a Painting by Rosinski
Check out the painting depicting Geralt of Rivia and Thorgal, by the graphic artist Grzegorz Rosinski himself. Could it be that he is giving us hints about the studio's new game?
The chances for a video game adaptation of Thorgal comics by CD Projekt RED have just increased. In June, we wrote about Piotr Rosinski's visit at the company's headquarters, and today the developers posted a photo with his father - Grzegorz Rosinski, who is responsible for the drawings in the graphic novel series. Next to the artist, we can see the head of the studio, Adam Badowski, and between them, there is a small gift from Mr. Rosinski. It is nothing else but a painting presenting Geralt of Rivia at the crossroads together with... Thorgal, the protagonist of the comic book series illustrated by Rosinski.
According to Polish website Puls Biznesu, Grzegorz Rosinski's visit slightly revived the company's stock price, which again gave rise to speculation about an adaptation of Thorgal's adventures. The studio has admitted that Wild Hunt was supposed to be the end of Geralt's adventures, so a game in a different - yet similar - universe seems like a likely move.
Add to this the fact that after Cyberpunk 2077 studio has plans for another high-budget project. Who knows, maybe we'll even get a crossover. Let's mention, that a game set in Thorgal's universe wouldn't be a novelty - in 2002 we received Curse of Atlantis: Thorgal's Quest.
