The Sims 4 Needed 6 Years to Reintroduce Bunk Beds

Tomorrow, another update will hit The Sims 4. Its main element is a piece of furniture, which has not appeared in the game for over 6 years, despite the fact that it appeared in one of the add-ons for the previous installment.

In 2011, The Sims 3 received an addition called Generations. One of the innovations implemented by the DLC were bunk beds. It might seem that if this type of furniture appeared in the series 10 years ago, it should also appear in 2014's The Sims 4 by default. Unfortunately, this situation did not occur and such item has not appeared in the game so far. However, this will change with tomorrow's update, which will finally introduce the aforementioned piece of furniture. This means that after more than 6 years the community's requests have been heard.

The implementation of bunk beds was hinted at a week ago. That's when we were informed that the details will be announced on March 22. In accordance with these announcements, today it was announced that the item will appear in the game tomorrow. However, this is not the only thing that comes to The Sims 4 with this patch. It will introduce improvements to some of the sims' features, and owners of the console versions will also receive textures in improved quality.

Beds are not the only item that will be included in The Sims 4 free of charge. 21 free items were added to the latest installment of the series less than a month ago to celebrate its 21st birthday.
