The Sims 4 confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation 4
Electronic Arts is ready to confirm the rumors - The Sims 4 is really coming to consoles. The game will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 17, 2017.
Electronic Arts confirmed that the console versions of The Sims 4 are inbound, soon after the game had showed up on Microsoft Store for Xbox One. The fourth installment of EA’s incredibly popular life simulator series is coming out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 17, 2017. EA Access subscribers (XONE) will be able to play it a week earlier, on November 9, and those who pre-order the game will get the Perfect Patio Stuff pack.
The console versions of The Sims 4 will include all the updates and free content that PC players have received so far, including ghost and pools, new careers, half-walls, the extra world of Newcrest as well as playable toddlers, with more DLC coming after the launch.
So far all rumors about the console versions of The Sims 4 were denied by Maxis – in July 2016, senior producer Lyndsay Pearson said that the studio had “no plans for a console version of The Sims 4 anytime in the near future”. Well, it seems that a year is not near future for Ms Pearson.
