The Settlers with a Release Date
We've just learned the release date of the new part of The Settlers series. Fortunately, we won't have to wait too long for it.
- Premiere at . The Settlers will take place on March 17 of this year.
- Closed beta testing is scheduled for January 20-24.
Few gaming series can compare with such a rich history as The Settlers - series existing on the market for almost 30 years . The eighth installment of The Settlers was announced three years ago as, simply, The Settlers. Ubisoft has just released a video showing us what this "new beginning" looks like in action. But what is more important - we finally got to know the release date. It will take place on March 17 this year. The game will hit the PCs only.
The above presentation focuses primarily on presenting the high quality graphic design of the new Settlers. The cities together with character animations look great.
There are also some battles to watch, as well as a presentation of the three available factions and a discussion of the general rules of the game. It is hard not to get the impression that the game is targeted at new players. Let's hope that the final product will satisfy not only them, but also the old-timers.
